I’m starting to get tired of this layout… I intended to create a three column layout in the beginning and ended up with this instead. I’ll do something about it in my four-day weekend (and the smilies!).
And may I welcome my very first blog buddy: Kat!
Let’s talk about school. It’s kind of getting boring. Since it’s my last year of this (law) course, I only have 2 subjects left. And an IMMENSELY BIG STUPID project (just like last year). So that explains my four-day weekends.
But things will get hectic (I love the word hectic!) once I start my final student internship. Yup, I’ll be a trainee from February to June (again). I ‘worked’ at the Dutch Tax Administration last time, and this time I’ll ‘work’ these 18/19 weeks at the law-court (if I’m lucky). They are currently looking for two trainees. Another girl from my class is applying or has already done that. I got the permission to apply too today. I’ll call that person tomorrow first thing in the morning. Wish me good luck, because I’m little nervous. If I’m lucky I may send a letter of application. A job interview will follow after that. The fun part is: the law-court is NEXT TO MY SCHOOL. Basically I only have to cycle 15/17 minutes to get there xD Everyone in my class wanted to ‘work’ at the law-court because of that.
Hmm, I know I used the term ‘work’ with a quotation mark. I can’t think of another way to put this.
OMG, it’s 23:14, need to go to sleep xD
Yesterday, there was a preview day of HvA in Amsterdam. HvA is one of the institutes of higher learning in the Netherlands. I plan to enrol in one of the bachelors they offer. This will be next year though. I went to see if Interactive Media would be something for me. Well, I think it is. I kept staring at all those projects students created in Flash and stuff. I was like: I belong here! There was also a presentation about the propedeuse (the first year at a university or the institute of higher learning). During the presentation they clearly stated that they don’t train only web designers or only programmers. They educate people who know something about everything in the world of Interactive Media. Sometimes people join the course only thinking of becoming web designers, but afterwards they realise they were wrong and quit half way. Uhu.
I went to the city mall on my way back home because I wanted to buy a straighter (I hate my hair the way it is!). Like always I also went to the comic/manga store. OMG, since when do they have almost all volumes of Trigun Maximum?! I bought volume 2 and 4 (I already had 3). I had to buy! Oh and Kamikaze sounded interesting so I bought first 3 volumes of it as well. I’m broke now! I won’t be able to buy any manga till January 2008 T_________T Lately I’ve been treating myself to lots of manga…
Ah, Shinsen-Subs released D.Gray-man 58 and Night Wizard 3. Live-evil released Shion no Ou 5. I’ve a four-day weekend anyway *grin*
I did it! I spoiled my Public Press& Public Relations exam.
(this reminds me that I’m still using default smilies). Sales Tax exam went well, I hope I get to hear the result this week.
Since yesterday I have a new timetable at school. I’ve two free days a week!
Monday and Friday. But Tuesday is a long day: 08:30 am till 16:30 pm *sigh* I’ve already had a cup to coffee but I think I will have another two today. I’ve my first break right now, basically I don’t feel like going to the canteen. It’s always too hectic. Instead I’m in the library reading a magazine about web designing and listing to my iPod. I discovered a new J-Rock/Visual Kei band yesterday! 12012.
I’ll go to the Preview Day of a HBO college on Saturday (Hoger Beroeps Onderwijs, literally “higher professional education”) for information about one of the bachelor studies…. I’ll blog about it.
I just came back from my yearly appointment at the dentist. Usually, it goes something like this: I step inside, he looks at my teeth and within 5 minutes I’m standing outside. But, no, not today. He was almost done but he noticed a small hole in my back tooth. But I’ve never had one! My reaction was: “jesus…”, even though he was still looking at it, and my mouth was wide open, he understood what I said. And he laughed! EVIL! Pure evil! After that he did the usual (at least to him) stuff, and ‘repaired’ it.
Okay, so in two hours I’ll go to school and intentionally spoil my Public Press&Public Relations exam. Why? I had absolutely no time for it. It was my little sister’s birthday and there were relatives staying over. It was quite hectic. I could annoy myself and learn for it now in so little time, but I think it’s best if I take it during the re-examination in January. You need a re-examination form to do so, and everyone received 14 forms in the beginning of the course (2 years ago). I haven’t even used one! *is proud of it* Tomorrow I have an exam about sales tax; I’m planning to study hard for it…
TIP: Don’t ever go to the manga store if you have exams next week!
